BEST WESTERN CRESTA COURT HOTEL MAKES DREAMS COME TRUE

The team at Best Western Cresta Court Hotel have been very busy over the past couple of weeks making sure a couple’s wedding dream came true.  With only a couple of weeks’ notice the Cresta Court Hotel’s events team organised the wedding reception for local couple Beverley Kitson and Charles Birchall from Sale.  Both in their 60s they met 25 years ago and decided they wanted to get married as soon as possible so they turned to Cresta Court Hotel to help them.

The couple got married in the local registry office and decided to hold their wedding breakfast and evening celebration at the hotel.  Polly Coulson, Events Manager, Cresta Court Hotel said: “We were contacted by Beverley and Charles initially asking if we could host a meal after they got married, then after we met with them and they were so impressed with the hotel’s function rooms and what we could offer in such a short turn around, it quickly progressed to a wedding breakfast and then an evening celebration.  The wedding breakfast was held in our Allen suite which can be adapted to suit different numbers of people.  This time we made it smaller with a partition wall so there was an intimate atmosphere for 40 guests at the wedding breakfast then it was opened up for the evening when additional guests arrived.  The wedding photos were taken on our black and white chequered dancefloor with a light curtain as the background which looked fantastic and guests were treated to a fun photo booth to create their wedding memories.  It was a pleasure working with Beverley and Charles and the team here at the Cresta Court Hotel did a fantastic job turning around a wedding celebration so quickly.”

Beverley added: “The team at Cresta Court Hotel were so helpful and spent time with us discussing ideas and finalising the plans. The flexibility of the team to give us the wedding of our dreams was perfect for us and they took care of everything including wedding breakfast, evening celebration, tailoring menus and booking all the accommodation.  They have such a lot of experience and knowledge and have great relationships with lots of local suppliers.  Having our celebrations at Cresta Court was perfect for us as everything was in one place, the bedrooms and meal and party, meaning we didn’t have to move around or wait around.  The whole day wasn’t nerve-wracking at all – Everybody was relaxed and really enjoyed the whole day.  Thank you Cresta!"
